How MyCollegely Started

The Simple, Human Story

MyCollegely wasn’t born in a boardroom. It began around kitchen tables, living room couches, and phone calls between nervous parents and their college-bound kids.

A group of fresh College Students — who had just survived the maze of applications, rejections, acceptances, and moving away from home — realized they all had the same thought:

"Why was this process so confusing? Why wasn’t there someone who could actually help us — not just sell us something?"

At the same time, their parents shared stories about how overwhelming it had been for them too. The endless forms, the hidden deadlines, the complicated scholarship applications, and the fear of sending their kids into the unknown without clear guidance. And all of this at exorbitant prices.

So together, these grads and their parents decided to build what they wished they’d had: a simple, trustworthy, people-first platform where students and families could get honest, personalized help for the entire college journey — from applying, to moving abroad, to settling in.

With a special focus on saving families time, money, and stress. From uncovering hidden scholarships to avoiding overpriced services, MyCollegely was built to help students not just get into college — but get there smartly and affordably.

They called it MyCollegely.

A name that reflects what it was meant to be:
“A college journey made yours.”

Not a faceless consulting service. Not a high-pressure sales pitch. Just real people helping other people navigate college life, one step (and one dollar) at a time.
